Our ethics and values

We are committed to the highest standards of ethics and corporate social responsibility in line with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. Our documented operating policies govern our approach to doing business, covering:

Quality

by ensuring the standard of all our work is duly considerate of the political, economic and humanitarian environment in which we work as well as meeting technical requirements of clients.

Equality and diversity

by building teams that are representative of all sections of society and clients with whom we work, and ensuring each member of our workforce are respected. In providing our services, we are also committed against unlawful discrimination of clients or the public.

Anti-fraud, bribery and corruption

by maintaining a culture of zero tolerance for bribery and corruption. We expect our people to behave in an ethical manner in their business dealings including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duty of care

by providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our workers and visitors under legislation and common law duties of care. In addition, we have robust policies and procedures in place in order to manage security, environmental and operational risks to acceptable levels wherever our teams are required to work around the world – including in fragile and conflict afflicted states. These policies include adherence to recognised “do no harm” principles. We also abide by all the requirements of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Environment

by recognising we have a responsibility beyond legal and regulatory requirements in the UK. We minimise our environmental impact as an integral part of our operating methods, and incorporate regular reviews.

We require all subcontractors to adhere to our ethics and operating policies. They are required to sign their agreement to that effect as part of any contract with them. Similarly, we apply a due diligence process to satisfy ourselves that our clients have and apply appropriate principles that mirror ours above.
We do not enter into commercial relationships with parties who do not demonstrate behaviours commensurate with our principles.
